2012 NFL Week 7 Thursday Night Pick – FootballThursday, October 18, 2012 12:21
Thursday night game pick and analysis for the 2012 NFL season Week 7.
NFL Week 7
There has always been “something” about Pete Carroll that I never liked as a head coach. Maybe it’s the rah-rah factor or how he high-tailed it out of L.A. when the NCAA posse rode into town.
Conversely, there was always something very infectious about his optimism and belief in himself and his teams. His players at every level love him; this current group is proving the guy can coach–and Carroll has shown he is adept at both drafting and trading for talent.
Jim Harbaugh–like brother John–has that eminently punchable face, but the Harbaughs have established themselves as excellent coaches.
Tonight’s game by the Bay should be a lot of fun to watch if you love great young defenses. Look for the 49ers to try and come out and smack the Sea Gulls in the beak–and look for the Gulls to bite back.
This will be another game the ‘Hawks keep close, but this time we’re thinking they fall short.
The Niners win it on a last second field goal; the Seahawks cover.
