Burress = Dumbass

There is a new nominee for dumbest person on the planet, and his name is Plaxico Burress. Okay, maybe the possibility is not new, but the ex-New York Giant just added a lot of ammunition to bolster his claim to the title.
Several months ago Burress turned down a plea deal of a three-month sentence (which could have been as little as two-months served and 1500 hours of community service) in his gun possession trial–an open-and-shut case if there has ever been one. Today he accepted a plea for two-years jail time, which could be reduced to twenty months for good behavior.
What an idiot. Another case of pride taking an egotistical bastard down. Ever hear of Achilles, Plaxico? You could have learned something from his hubris.
Now he’ll have two years to think about it.
