Deep Into Sports Site Updates

I think, finally, that the recent run of site updates is done–for the time being. As you may have noticed, many things have changed on Deep Into Sports in the last few weeks, some more obvious, some more subtle, all in the name of delivering a better user experience.

A brief summary of these changes is as follows:

1. New drop-down menu with more options.
2. Score widgets — There were two; I had to drop the one at the top of each page because it conflicted with the menu in some browsers, but there’s a second one available from the Scores page.
3. Wider post column.
4. New options in the sidebars, which have also been rearranged.
5. Related articles and other post cross-linking options.
6. Minor styling changes.

Below the surface, I’ve added many plugins and made changes for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in order to generate more readers!
